Job summary

The University of Kansas St Francis seeks a Board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Internal Medicine team in Topeka, KS. This outpatient role focuses on established-patient follow-ups, chronic disease management, and transitions of care.

Schedule is 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with no clinic call. Certification in ACLS/BLS is required, and wound care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Board-certified NP or PA
• ACLS/BLS Certification required
• Basic Internal Medicine procedures with wound care preferred

Responsibilities

• Support Internal Medicine physician team by increasing patient access and continuity of care.
• Manage established-patient follow-up visits and routine chronic disease management.
• Conduct post-hospital and post-ED follow-up visits and support transitions of care.
