Job summary

Qualifications
- Master's degree in nursing from an accredited program.
- Current NYS Registered Nurse License (RN).
- Current NYS Nurse Practitioner License.
- Current Nurse Practitioner Certification.
- Excellent communication skills (oral & written).
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS).
Responsibilities
- Plans and organizes care with the interdisciplinary team to meet patient needs.
- Develops and implements therapeutic plans with the attending physician.
- Prescribes inpatient and discharge medications per NYS law.
- Facilitates continuity of care across services and settings.
- Provides consultation and education to nursing staff and families.
