Job summary

Caduceus Medical Recruitment is seeking Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Internal Medicine Physicians to join a well-established hospitalist program within a large integrated health system. This opportunity offers a balanced schedule, strong specialty support, and a collaborative inpatient environment.

You will work 7-on/7-off, 12-hour daytime shifts, with no on-call responsibilities, caring for 15–20 patients per provider.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/board-eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Experience in hospitalist inpatient care.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-acuity setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient medical care for adult patients.
• Admit and manage patients from the emergency department and transfers.
• Provide consultative and co-management services with specialists.
• Collaborate with intensivists in care of critically ill patients (no procedures required).
• Manage patients within observation/clinical decision units as appropriate.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams including nursing, case management, and specialty services.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health record.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance metrics.
• Contribute to efficient patient flow and hospital throughput initiatives.
