Job summary

Ascension Sacred Heart Gulf Hospital in Port St. Joe, FL is seeking a Board-certified/Board-eligible physician to join our outpatient practice. This employed position offers support from a robust health system and a strong referral network.

Physicians must be licensed in Florida with MD or DO credentials. Advanced Life Support is preferred, and the role may involve rotating outpatient call with access to hospital resources.

About The Facility

• Sacred Heart on the Gulf opened in 2010 to further the Sacred Heart mission in the Port St. Joe community: providing excellent health care to all people, with special attention to the poor and vulnerable.
• 25 bed community hospital (Part of a robust clinical network with our sister facilities in Pensacola, Panama City, and Destin, FL)
• Serving a population of approximately 8,000
• Integrated referral network (largest employed primary care network in NW FL)

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Licensed Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Florida Board of Medicine obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Board eligibility/certification in medical specialty required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
