Job summary

Ascension in Panama City, FL, seeks a Board Certified or Board Eligible physician to join a busy, well-respected practice within a nonprofit health system. The role offers an employed position with CME allowances, sign-on eligibility, and robust malpractice tail coverage.

The practice will include a mix of inpatient and outpatient duties, supported by a 200-bed facility with Level II Trauma Center and a strong referral network. Florida licensure and DEA registration are required.

Qualifications

• Licensed MD/DO in Florida; board eligible/certified in specialty.
• Advanced Life Support preferred (AHA/ARC acceptable).

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Licensed Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Florida Board of Medicine obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Board eligibility/certification in medical specialty required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
