Ascension St. Vincent Anderson is seeking a Hospitalist for a part-time employed position at a Level I trauma center. The role involves 24/7 emergency care with a closed ICU and access to dedicated intensivists and ICU staff.

MD or DO board-certified/board-eligible in Internal Medicine is required, with new graduates considered. Flexible scheduling and opportunities to pick up extra shifts support work-life balance.

• Focused Clinical Scope: Manage a daily census of 12-15 patients within a closed ICU environment where dedicated intensivists and ICU staff handle critical care.
• Procedural Autonomy: Perform procedures if interested. While the team does not mandate procedures, they offer retraining for physicians looking to sharpen those skills.
• Advanced Academic Setting: Practice within a facility hosting multiple residency (IM, FM, Anesthesia) and fellowship programs (Cardio, Critical Care).
• Licensure & Education: Must hold an MD or DO and be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Experience: Hospitalist experience is a plus, though high-potential new graduates will be considered.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
• Internal Medicine Specific: This team specifically seeks IM-trained physicians; Family Medicine candidates are only considered in very rare circumstances.
• New Graduate Friendly: While prior hospitalist experience is a plus, the team is highly supportive of and will accept new graduates.
