Qualifications

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse operations, import/export, or a related field required.
  • Six (6) or more years of relevant experience preferred with a bachelor's degree, or eight (8) or more years of relevant experience with an associate's degree.
  • Experience with import and export documentation, carrier management, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
  • Advanced SAP experience required.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, Advanced Filters, data validation, report creation, and spreadsheet management.
  • Experience creating and exporting reports from SAP.
  • Knowledge of Incoterms and international shipping processes preferred.
  • Experience with inventory management and inventory control processes.
  • Strong customer service and supplier relationship management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently with a strong sense of urgency and ownership.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, replenishment, picking, packing, loading, and dispatching of materials.
  • Ensure warehouse activities are completed safely, accurately, and efficiently.
  • Maintain complete and accurate inventory and logistics data within the ERP system.
  • Inspect incoming materials for quality and accuracy prior to storage.
  • Communicate regularly with suppliers regarding shipments, deliveries, and inventory needs.
  • Participate in cycle counts and inventory control activities to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Coordinate import and export documentation and ensure timely processing of shipments.
  • Monitor third-party logistics (3PL) providers and carrier performance.
  • Track shipment status and resolve logistics issues as they arise.
  • Prepare, analyze, and distribute logistics and supply chain reports.
  • Utilize SAP to manage inventory, logistics transactions, and reporting.
  • Create and maintain reports using advanced Microsoft Excel functions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations.
  • Build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within warehouse and supply chain operations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Summary

The Internal Logistics Specialist is responsible for coordinating warehouse and supply chain operations to ensure the efficient receipt, storage, movement, and distribution of goods.
