Fortune Brands Innovations, Inc. in Indiana is seeking a manufacturing technician to stack and prepare doors for shipment, perform repairs with standard tools, and maintain an organized repair area. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to obtain LOTO certification.

Responsibilities

• Stack doors onto pallet using proper technique.
• Prepare doors for stretch wrapper and ensure they are properly wrapped and tagged for shipment.
• Repair doors using sanders, bondo, epoxy, epoxy gun, clamps and common shop tools.
• Refill and organize repair area.
• Record scrap.
• Dispose of aerosol cans using documented process.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job description

• Stack doors onto pallet using proper technique
• Prepare doors for stretch wrapper and insure they are properly wrapped and tagged for shipment
• Repair doors using sanders, bondo, epoxy and epoxy gun, clamps, routers, scrapers, scrawls, hammers, knives and other engineer approved methods
• Refill and organize repair area
• Record scrap
• Dispose of aerosol cans using document process
• Other duties as assigned
• High School Graduate/HSE or equivalent manufacturing experience
• Ability to be certified in all LOTO procedures for respective area
• Ability to be certified in all jobs of respective area
• Manage ambiguity while working through stressful situations
• Positive attitude and a willingness to work with others

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $47,860 USD - $57,200 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.
