Job summary

Fortune Brands Innovations is seeking a manufacturing operator to support door production and repair processes. You will stack, wrap, tag, and transport doors, repair components as needed, and maintain an organized repair area.

The role requires a high school diploma, ability to obtain LOTO certifications, and a collaborative attitude to work with peers in a dynamic environment. Base pay includes a salary range with bonuses based on performance.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate/HSE or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Ability to be certified in all LOTO procedures for respective area.
• Ability to be certified in all jobs of respective area.
• Manage ambiguity while working through stressful situations.
• Positive attitude and a willingness to work with others.

Responsibilities

• Stack doors onto pallet using proper technique.
• Prepare doors for stretch wrapper and insure they are properly wrapped and tagged for shipment.
• Repair doors using sanders, bondo, epoxy and epoxy gun, clamps, routers, scrapers, scrawls, hammers, knives and other engineer approved methods.
• Refill and organize repair area.
• Record scrap.
• Dispose of aerosol cans using document process.
• Other duties as assigned.

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $47,860 USD - $57,200 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
