Job summary

Guardian Pharmacy of Atlanta is seeking an onboarding coordinator to manage new business onboarding, configure facilities in the pharmacy system, and act as the quality assurance point person from startup through go-live. The role requires collaboration with internal teams to ensure accurate med lists and smooth patient/facility setups.

You will support eMAR/EHR interfaces, troubleshoot issues, and maintain compliance with company policies while assisting pharmacy operations as needed.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration (per state requirements).
  • Experience with pharmacy operations systems and MAR.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain setup of new facilities within pharmacy management system.
  • Configure system settings including ECM folders/workflows based on requirements.
  • Customize workflows, templates, forms and settings for facility needs.
  • Coordinate with Account Manager to gather information for patient/facility profiles.
  • Develop plan to maintain accurate med lists until go-live date.
  • Perform Quality Assurance and testing for correct setup and functionality.
  • Troubleshoot interface issues and provide ongoing support.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address system issues.
  • Serve as primary contact for eMAR/EHR inquiries.
  • Ensure policy compliance and assist in pharmacy operations as needed.

Responsible for coordinating and completing all internal tasks related to the onboarding of new business. Ensures initial servicing of new customer residents is smooth and error free by acting as internal liaison/quality assurance point person upon startup of service and on-boarding of patients.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (include the following):
  • Establish and maintain set up of new facilities within pharmacy management system.
  • Use account information to configure system settings including ECM folders/workflows based on requirements.
  • Customize workflows, templates, forms, and other settings to align with the needs of the facility.
  • Communicate with Account Manager as needed to obtain adequate information for patient/facility profiles.
  • Devise plan to maintain accurate med lists until facility's go live date.
  • Conduct Quality Assurance and Testing: Ensure accuracy of information and tests interface to ensure correct setup and functionality.
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing support for interface related problems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address any identified issues or gaps in system performance.
  • Serve as primary contact for eMAR/EHR-related customer and team member inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies.
  • Provide assistance in pharmacy operations on an as needed basis.
  • Other essential functions and duties may be assigned as needed.
EDUCATION AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration (per state requirements)
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 2+ years of related experience (advanced degree may substitute for experience)
  • Advanced computer skills: pharmacy operations system experience required
  • Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines
  • Ability to solve problems with minimal direction
  • Great attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines
  • Quality minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquire when something appears inaccurate
  • Working knowledge of State Assisted Living regulations and facility requirements
  • Experience working with medication administration records

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate with others inside and outside the pharmacy, including the ability to express oneself and exchange information in what, at times, could be a stressful or high-pressure environment. The employee frequently is required to move about the office/pharmacy to access files, use office equipment, and to interact with others. The person must be able to sit or remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time to be able to work, communicate on the phone, utilize the computer, and interact with others. The employee is occasionally required to stand or otherwise be able to access files, equipment, and other items in high places. Employee must be able to constantly operate computers, phones, and other office equipment. Employee must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
