• Help develop and improve policies, procedures, and internal control documentation.
• Analyze financial and operational data and prepare reports for management.
• Work with Air Force personnel and other stakeholders to implement improvements.
• Prepare presentations and briefings to communicate progress and recommendations.

Job description

Make an impact supporting the Department of the Air Force! Lynch Consultants is seeking a highly motivated Internal Controls Analyst. This individual will help improve financial processes, evaluate internal controls, identify areas for improvement, and support the Air Force's financial audit readiness efforts.

Salary:

$73,000 commensurate with years of experience

Work Location and Schedule:

• Hybrid: 3 days onsite in Camp Springs/Joint Base Andrews, MD and 2 days remote.

Required Qualifications – Must Have

• MUST have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field.
• MUST have an ACTIVE Secret Clearance.
• MUST be a U.S Citizen.
• MUST have 3+ years of experience in financial management, internal controls, auditing, business process improvement, or a related field.

Preferred Qualification

• Strong understanding of DoD financial operation.
