Lynch Consultants, LLC seeks an Internal Controls Analyst to improve financial processes, evaluate internal controls, and support air force audit readiness. Hybrid: 3 days onsite in Camp Springs, MD and 2 days remote.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance/business, active Secret Clearance, US citizenship, and 3+ years in financial management or related fields. Salary is $73,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in accounting, finance, business, or related field.
• Active Secret Clearance required.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• 3+ years of experience in financial management, internal controls, auditing, or process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Review financial processes and internal controls to identify weaknesses and opportunities for improvement.
• Conduct interviews and walkthroughs with Air Force personnel to understand existing processes.
• Document processes, findings, and recommendations for corrective actions.
• Help develop and improve policies, procedures, and internal control documentation.
• Analyze financial and operational data and prepare reports for management.
• Work with Air Force personnel and other stakeholders to implement improvements.
• Prepare presentations and briefings to communicate progress and recommendations.
