Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks an Employee Communications Representative to inform and inspire employees and drive business priorities. The role focuses on storytelling across articles, videos, interviews, and concise announcements, partnering with leaders to craft talking points and speeches.

You’ll support internal communications, digital content, and events while maintaining brand alignment and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Onsite with some telework, Falls Church, VA.

Qualifications

• Entry level with bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English or related field.
• Experience in employee or executive communications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong judgement and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Inform and inspire employees and drive business priorities across the enterprise.
• Develop, implement and measure employee, executive, culture and change communications plans and tactics.
• Be a storyteller: conceptualize and produce a wide array of content (articles, videos, interviews, Q&As, infographics).
• Write, edit and distribute strategic announcements, news items, digital content and videos.
• Serve as a partner and trusted advisor to business partners with talking points and scripts.
• Collaborate with other communications teams to align messaging.
• Support maintenance of internal websites and digital signage monitors.
• Assist with event content and logistics.
• Support internal and external communications tactics (webinars, town halls, industry events).
• Support social media campaigns to promote strategic priorities.
• Ensure communications align with the company brand and vision.
• Provide surge support to business sector communications as needed.
