Job summary

Transamerica is seeking an Internal Communications professional to develop and coordinate communications that align with technology and business priorities. You will craft clear content across newsletters, intranet, email, and slides, partnering with stakeholders to shape audiences, timing and success metrics.

The role emphasizes accessibility, inclusivity, and timely delivery. Responsibilities include maintaining SharePoint content, coordinating across initiatives, and ensuring messaging

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years in communications or related area.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
• Ability to handle confidential information with strong written/verbal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops and coordinates internal communications across channels (intranet, newsletters, email, presentations).
• Partners with stakeholders to clarify goals, audiences, timing and success measures.
• Maintains site content on Web and SharePoint, ensuring branding and style consistency.
• Creates clear, accessible content for employees and leaders; supports measurement of impact.
• Supports communication planning, leader messaging, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Produces content that is timely, inclusive, and easy to understand.
