Reporting to our Chief People Officer, you will own the strategy, voice, and rhythm of internal communications for a fast-growing team of engineers, operators, and builders working on some of the most consequential problems in national security space. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field.
• 5+ years of internal or corporate communications experience in high-growth tech/aerospace/defense.
• Exceptional writer and editor who translates complex information into clear messages.
• Experience advising senior executives and pushing back constructively.
• Proven track record building communication programs, channels, or cadences from the ground up.
• Experience leading change management through growth or sensitive situations.
• Strong project management skills with ownership and multiple long-term projects.
• Proficient with Slack, Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Confluence; basic design/video tools.
• Data-informed mindset; measure impact and improve.
• Comfort handling sensitive information with integrity.
• Passionate about culture and mission alignment.
• Ability to share writing samples.
• Willingness to travel to True Anomaly locations.

Responsibilities

• Build and own internal communications strategy and operating rhythm from ideation to execution.
• Advise the Chief People Officer, CEO, and executive team on gaps and opportunities; write leadership messages and updates.
• Plan and produce all-hands, lunch and learns, leadership forums; build a leadership speaking program with marketing support.
• Lead change communications and enable managers to cascade messages to teams.
• Own intranet and internal channels (Slack, SharePoint, Confluence, email) and set usage standards.
• Tell stories behind our work; celebrate wins and build culture across locations.
• Partner with People, Talent, and Total Rewards on onboarding, benefits, and programs.
• Coordinate with Marketing to align internal/external messaging on launches and contracts.
• Work with Security, Legal, and Programs to meet ITAR and information handling requirements.
• Use AI tools responsibly to scale communications within security rules.
• Define metrics, measure reach, gather feedback, and refine content and timing.
• Create voice, tone, and style guidelines and templates for leaders.
