Job summary

Littler is seeking an Internal Communications Manager to develop strategic communications that inform, engage and connect employees across the firm. The role partners with leaders to translate complex initiatives into clear messaging and drive engagement in a hybrid Chicago/Dallas/Kansas City role.

The ideal candidate is a strong writer and project manager with experience supporting executive communications and leading campaigns.

Qualifications

Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling skills.
Ability to translate complex legal concepts into clear, compelling communications.
Experience supporting executive communications.
Experience developing communications strategies and campaigns.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent interpersonal, collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
Familiarity with communication analytics and measurement.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement a comprehensive internal communications strategy aligned with firm goals and priorities.
Create communication plans that support firm initiatives and organizational changes, leadership messages and employee engagement efforts.
Advise and implement effective communication approaches and best practices.
Ensure message consistency across all internal communication channels.
Create a firmwide calendar to ensure proper cadence of communications.
Write, edit and produce high-quality content.
Ensure communications are clear, accurate, engaging and audience focused.
Manage and optimize communications channels and platforms.
Evaluate channel effectiveness and identify opportunities to enhance reach and engagement.
Maintain editorial calendars and communications schedules.
Assist in supporting organizational changes, business transformation and key strategic initiatives.
Develop targeted communication plans that help employees understand and navigate change.
Collaborate with key business leaders and stakeholders to increase organizational alignment.
Establish metrics and reporting to measure communication effectiveness.
Analyze engagement, readership and employee feedback.
Use data-driven insights to improve communications strategies and programs.
Perform such other/additional duties as may from time to time be assigned.
