Job summary

SJE is seeking an Internal Communications Manager to oversee communications across all divisions and locations. You will develop strategies, craft engaging content, and ensure a consistent brand voice that aligns with our culture and goals.

You will partner with HR, Operations, Marketing, and senior leaders to inform and engage employees about changes, initiatives, and the Proud to Be SJE culture. A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in communications or related field
• 5+ years of experience in communications, employer brand, PR, or related field
• Demonstrated ability to craft clear internal messages and manage channels
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute internal communications plans aligned with company goals
• Write, edit, and distribute announcements, presentations, intranet updates, and leadership messages
• Maintain a consistent tone, voice, and brand alignment across channels
• Translate complex information for broad employee audiences
• Partner with HR, Operations, Marketing, and senior leaders on timely communications
• Coordinate with external vendors to meet deadlines and budgets
• Manage internal communication platforms and ensure they are current and engaging
• Monitor and evaluate communication effectiveness and implement improvements
