Job summary

SJE is seeking a Corporate Communications Manager to lead internal communications across all divisions and locations. The role focuses on content creation, consistent branding, and leadership messaging to connect employees with the company’s goals and culture.

The candidate will develop strategic plans, collaborate with HR, Operations, and Marketing, and manage communication channels while driving employee engagement and culture initiatives across Birmingham, Detroit Lakes, and Ashland locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, PR, marketing or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in communications, employer brand, PR or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute internal communication plans aligned with company goals and culture initiatives.
• Write, edit, and distribute announcements, presentations, intranet updates, and leadership messages.
• Maintain consistent tone, voice, and brand alignment across internal comms.
• Translate complex information into clear messages for broad employee audiences.
• Collaborate with HR, Operations, Marketing and senior leaders for timely communications.
• Support communications for acquisitions, branding, and organizational changes.
• Coordinate with external vendors to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Manage internal communication platforms and evaluate effectiveness.
