Job summary

S&B is seeking a Communications Coordinator to join its Marketing and Communications team in Houston. This role supports internal and external communications plans, drafting and distributing materials, and assisting with PR and social media content development.

The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of corporate communications or marketing experience, strong writing and proofreading skills, AP style familiarity, and proficiency in Microsoft Office; Adobe Creative Suite and Canva are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, PR, journalism, marketing, or related field.
• 1–3 years in corporate internal communications or public relations/marketing.
• Excellent written/verbal communication, copywriting and proofreading.
• Experience with AP style and multi-channel content (social/digital/email).

Responsibilities

• Assist in executing corporate and internal communications strategies.
• Draft press releases, articles, blogs and internal newsletters.
• Coordinate employee engagement events and related communications.
• Create and publish weekly content for internal channels and S&B TV.
• Support social media messaging and graphics for LinkedIn.
• Track communications analytics and coordinate with stakeholders.
