Job summary

Manulife/John Hancock is seeking a New Graduate in an Internal Business Associate role to partner with internal consultants and the sales team. You will support development and execution of programs that help advisors grow their business and increase AUM, while learning about mutual funds, ETFs, UCITS, 529 plans and SMA accounts.

You will work toward Series 7/66 licenses and the SIE exam, with company-funded training and time to study during business hours to prepare for exams.

Qualifications

• Expected Graduation of Spring/Summer 2023 with a Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Economics, Analytics/Mathematics/Statistics, or similar.
• Interest in Capital Markets and desire to gain sales experience in financial services.
• Must obtain Series 7 and Series 66 licenses within 120 days of hire, with SIE exam also required; licensing costs covered.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with advisors and internal partners.
• Assist in developing and executing the annual territory business plan.
• Prepare reports and fund proposals for internal partners and investment advisors.
• Coordinate and participate in corporate and industry events.
• Serve as main contact with internal and external partners; schedule meetings for leadership.
