Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC seeks an Internal Auditor to join the Worldwide Amazon Stores Internal Audit team in Seattle, WA. You will execute audits across operations, controls, and technology, working with engineers and leaders to gather evidence and report findings.

You will analyze processes, identify control gaps, and help drive improvements while collaborating with managers and senior auditors on multiple audits concurrently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in risk/fraud analysis or compliance
• Experience working across cross-functional teams and partnering with people at all levels

Responsibilities

• Executes assigned audit tasks and test steps within defined timelines under guidance from senior auditors.
• Collaborates with audit team and supports Audit Managers and senior auditors.
• Uses data analytics to identify control gaps, inefficiencies, and exceptions.
• Performs defined data analysis procedures to support testing and validate data sets.
• Deep dive into processes and controls to ensure testing is complete and well documented.
• Delivers high quality work by validating results and documenting findings clearly.
• Supports development of clear workpapers and draft findings with business impact.
• Escalates issues and prioritizes conflicts while seeking guidance as needed.
• Communicates clearly with team members and stakeholders.
• Demonstrates curiosity and willingness to learn audit practices and controls.
