Job summary

Savannah River National Laboratory (SRNL) Internal Audit provides independent assurance and consulting to add value and improve risk management, internal controls, and governance processes.

The Internal Auditor will play a key role in conducting internal audits, evaluating controls, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The role requires working independently or with others, and may participate in SRNL’s part-time teleworking program on a case-by-case basis.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist in planning, executing, and reporting on internal audit engagements.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with internal auditors, management, and external resources in risk assessments, investigations, and consulting activities.
