Savannah River National Laboratory (SRNL) is seeking a Compliance Accountant to focus on internal control over financial reporting and the annual risk assessment process. You will coordinate documentation, test controls, and report results to DOE, working with process owners and management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a business-related field with 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in applying accounting principles, policies, and procedures.
• Excellent written and oral communication and the ability to work with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist with annual assessment of internal controls and risk assessment.
• Coordinate documentation, procedures, policies, and flowcharts to map and test controls.
• Identify control gaps and design test plans aligned with DOE guidance.
• Support remediation actions and reporting to DOE; interact with process owners.
• Ensure compliance with environment, safety, health, and quality requirements.
