Job summary

Wind Creek Chicago Southland is seeking a Staff Auditor to plan and execute audits and special projects across diverse operational areas. You will work independently under the Audit Manager, ensuring compliance with internal standards while identifying efficiencies and strengthening controls.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field, with strong Excel skills and English communication.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or related field is required.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills are essential.
Familiarity with internal audit standards and IT general controls is preferred.

Responsibilities

Plan, perform, and coordinate audits of moderate complexity in accordance with audit programs and standards.
Assist in risk-based audit work programs based on regulations and operating environment.
Observe transactions and documents to support audit conclusions and prepare workpapers.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency while maintaining controls.
Prepare formal audit reports and present findings to management.
Follow up on management actions to ensure implementation.
