American Family Insurance is seeking an intern to assist in establishing and maintaining strategies to meet organizational objectives. Under the direction of a senior level employee or manager the intern will work on projects that support business area goals and results, using interpersonal and technical skills and adapting to new or changing situations in a team environment.

  • Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support, or service.
  • Must be currently seeking a baccalaureate, masters, or doctoral degree and be enrolled in an accredited college or university on a full-time basis or as required by the university's co-op program.
  • Must have achieved 24 semester hours of academic credit before beginning the first work term.

  • Open to and supports new ideas, systems and procedures. Generate creative ideas and actions in response to changing situations.
  • Supports and plans work on small projects with direction from management.

  • Presents project results to management and/or department personnel.
  • Performs analytical work within the assigned functional area.

Completes tasks using both interpersonal and technical skills appropriate to the specific job assignment, while adapting to new or changing situations in a team environment.
