Ingredion is seeking a highly motivated Internal Audit Intern for summer 2027 in Westchester, IL. You will support audit activities, apply data analytics, and assess financial, operational, and compliance controls across the organization.

Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor’s or master’s in Accounting/Finance, Business Administration, CS, MIS or similar with GPA ≥3.0/4.0.
• Able to work 40 hrs/week during summer internship.
• On-site in Westchester, IL at least 3 days/week.
• Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Experience with data visualizations (Power BI/Tableau) preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist with audit execution under supervision; document processes and controls.
• Perform audit testing procedures and evaluate evidence.
• Prepare audit workpapers and support analytics-based procedures.
• Leverage data analysis to identify patterns, risks, and improvements.
• Work with SAP & Concur and other enterprise systems.
• Evaluate accounting controls and policy compliance across the org.
