Job summary

CoxHealth Internal Agency CT Technologist provides CT procedures across multiple locations, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient welfare. You will administer contrast and evaluate scans to confirm diagnostic status while supporting radiology student training.

Requires ARRT radiology education, CT licensure, and preferred CT experience; rotating shifts and system-wide coverage are expected.

Qualifications

• Graduation from ARRT accredited school required.
• Associates degree in Radiology preferred.
• 2 years ct technologist experience preferred.
• R.T. (R) (CT) (ARRT) licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures across CoxHealth Radiology departments following established standards.
• Administer intravenous contrast and evaluate images for diagnostic quality.
• Support didactic training of Radiology students through demonstration and guidance.

Job Summary

The Internal Agency CT Technologist responds to department critical coverage needs throughout the system for all CT locations. Competency requires versatility to cover any need throughout system Radiology CT departments. Performs CT procedures consistent with the established standard of medical care in radiology, maintaining high quality imaging and patient welfare as a top priority. Administer appropriate contrast media intravenously and accurately evaluate images to ensure quality and diagnostic status of exam. Supports didactic training of radiology students through demonstration and constructive guidance.

Education

• Required: Graduate of ARRT accredited School of Radiological Technology
• Preferred: Associates Degree in Radiology

Experience

• Preferred: 2 years experience as a Registered Technologist in CT

Skills

• Strong analytical/problem solving skills.
• Knowledge of current diagnostic radiology technical information.
• Proficient in using computers and computer systems.
