Qualifikationen

• Five (5) years of work experience in investigations of criminal or fraudulent activity OR five (5) years in fact finding analyses and investigative reporting.
• Associate's degree in Social Sciences, Criminal Justice, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Social Sciences, Criminal Justice, Human Resources or a related field.

Aufgaben

• Investigates internal allegations of violations of administrative and personnel rules, and other matters as assigned.
• Handles members of the public as complainants and witnesses.
• Conducts audio recorded interviews of complainants, witnesses, and employees to gather facts and investigate alleged misconduct and violations of personnel and administrative rules.
• Prepares detailed investigation reports using case management systems, documenting findings clearly and accurately and confers with a supervisor to make disciplinary recommendations as required.
• Maintains records of investigations, correspondence, and related case documentation.
• Assists Investigators in the conduct of large-scale and complex investigations.
• Obtains and reviews reports, physical evidence, and electronic records maintained by other agencies related to investigations.
• Understands and applies Rules and Regulations as well as DHR personnel rules in administrative investigations.
• Monitors investigations from inception to closure to ensure timely completion.

Ausbildung

5 years of work experience in investigations OR 5 years in fact finding and investigative reporting
