Job summary

TC Energy is seeking a Student Intern to support environmental compliance, GHG reporting, methane management, and air emissions programs across U.S. operations.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Data Analytics, Environmental Policy, or related degree program.
  • Completion of at least one academic term prior to the start of the work term in May 2027.
  • Familiarity with data systems, databases, or reporting tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, validate, and organize GHG, methane, and air emissions data for federal, state, corporate, and voluntary reporting.
  • Reconcile emissions inventories, permits, calculation tools, LDAR records, and supporting documentation.
  • Support efforts to improve data consistency, documentation quality, and audit readiness.
  • Perform QA/QC reviews of emissions datasets and environmental information system records.
  • Conduct regulatory research related to greenhouse gas, methane, LDAR, and air emissions requirements.
  • Prepare summaries of regulatory developments and environmental compliance obligations.
  • Assist environmental teams with data analysis, records management, and compliance activities.
