TC Energy is seeking a Student Intern to support operational assurance and continuous improvement initiatives across the U.S. Gas footprint.

The role provides hands-on experience in data analytics, risk management, and change management while contributing to safety and reliability in North America. You will work with stakeholders to assess processes, analyze performance trends, and implement sustainable improvements that enhance safety, efficiency, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited engineering, data analytics, business, or related undergraduate degree.
  • Must have completed at least one academic term prior to May 2027 start.
  • Available to work full-time (40 hours/week) for the duration of the work term.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and assess safety and operational risks through data collection and analysis.
  • Analyze and trend data to develop insights for risk reduction and operational improvement recommendations.
  • Prepare business cases, reports, and presentations to communicate findings and improvement opportunities.
  • Support the development and implementation of change management plans.
  • Evaluate post-implementation effectiveness, sustainability, and value achievement.
  • Provide assurance on data quality and reporting of key operational metrics using Power BI.
  • Maintain ethical, equitable, and quality standards that support safe operational performance.
  • Support ad hoc projects and requests as required.
