Job summary

HNTB Corporation in Bellevue/Seattle is seeking a Transportation Planning intern for Summer 2027. This position is usually part-time, temporary, or co-op, and does not include relocation or housing.

You will assist the project team with research, data collection, and the development of graphics, presentations and reports while enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Urban Design, Civil Engineering, or Planning.

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Design, Civil Engineering, Planning, or another relevant field of study.
• Interest in infrastructure and transportation.

Our Bellevue and Seattle are seeking a Transportation Planning intern for Summer 2027.

We do NOT provide relocation or housing for these positions.

What You’ll Do:

• Assists project team members with various support tasks. Conducts basic research and data collection. Maintains records, collections and files related to specific projects. Assist in the development of graphics, presentation materials and reports. Performs other duties assigned.
• What You’ll Need: Enrolled in a related undergraduate or graduate program

What We Prefer:

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Design, Civil Engineering, Planning, or another relevant field of study.
• Interest in infrastructure and transportation.

The approximate pay range for Washington is $25.28 - $37.92. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position based on all selected locations within the state at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.
