Andy Mohr Honda Bloomington is offering an internship as a Dealership Lube Technician. You will perform preventative maintenance, including oil changes and tire services, while identifying additional service needs for customer safety.

You will work with a team in a fast-paced service department, gaining extensive hands-on training and support from experienced technicians. This internship emphasizes safety, accuracy, and professional growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Strong attention to detail and a safety-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform fluid services: Drain and refill engine oil, replace filters, and top off all critical automotive fluids.
• Conduct tire maintenance: Rotate tires, precision mounting, balancing, and pressure checks.
• Execute multi-point inspections: Inspect brake pads, lines, hoses, belts, and underbody components thoroughly.
• Document and communicate: Record all work on repair orders and report additional repair needs clearly to Service Advisors.
• Maintain shop safety: Keep work bays clean, organized, and compliant with dealership and OSHA safety standards.
