Job summary

Hilmar Cheese Company in Hilmar, CA offers a 10-week paid summer internship designed to give real-world experience in Business, Data Analytics, and Industrial Engineering. Interns collaborate with employees on projects, visit dairy facilities, and engage with senior leaders to understand how wholesome dairy products are developed and distributed.

During the internship you will gain hands-on exposure to CRM, SAP, and product portfolios, with potential for full-time employment after graduation.

Qualifications

• Evidence of being a current sophomore, working toward a related degree.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) preferred.
• Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills are required.
• Reliable transportation to the Hilmar site is necessary.
• This internship aims to build practical business and technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Improve processes related to CRM, Key Account Support, and Pipeline development.
• Identify opportunities for succession and growth within the organization.
• Support of Organization Structure based on ISMP guidelines.
• Develop skills utilizing CRM, SAP, B2B Sales, Sales Cycle, and Product Portfolio.

What You Will Need

• Completion of sophomore year at a university and working towards a Degree in Business, Data Analytics, Mathematics, or Industrial Engineering
• Basic knowledge of MS Office products: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
• Strong applied technical skills and analytical problem-solving skills
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Reliable transportation to and from work

Physical Demands & Work Environment

The role has frequent occasions that require prolonged walking or standing, lifting/ carrying/handling moderate weight objects on a regular basis. Is required to wear PPE and have a regular presence in manufacturing and warehouse environments in both temperature controlled and uncontrolled locations. Must frequently interact with people verbally. Specific details of the essential functions of the position is available in the Job Safety Analysis, made available on request.
