Job summary

Hilmar Cheese Company invites interns to join its Hilmar, CA site for a 10-week paid summer internship focused on business and sales operations. Interns will work on real projects, gain exposure to CRM, SAP, and the product portfolio, and collaborate with senior leaders.

A potential pathway to full-time employment exists after graduation. Applicants should be sophomores pursuing degrees in business, sales, accounting, HR, or finance, and have basic MS Office skills with strong communication

As an intern at our Hilmar, CA site, you’ll be exposed to real life business situations and will work on projects alongside our employees. Your summer with Hilmar Cheese will include dairy visits, community projects, and even a chance to pick the brain of our senior leaders. You’ll have the opportunity to gain insight on how we create wholesome dairy products, systems and services that improve lives around the world.

What You Will Need

• Completion of sophomore year at a university and working towards a degree in Business, Sales, Accounting, Human Resources, Finance or related field.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office products: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
• Strong applied technical skills and analytical problem-solving skills
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Reliable transportation to and from work

Physical Demands & Work Environment

The role has frequent occasions that require prolonged walking or standing, lifting/ carrying/handling moderate weight objects on a regular basis. Is required to wear PPE and have a regular presence in manufacturing and warehouse environments in both temperature controlled and uncontrolled locations. Must frequently interact with people verbally. Specific details of the essential functions of the position is available in the Job Safety Analysis, made available on request.
