Spire Inc. is offering a paid internship for students or recent graduates to gain real-world experience in Standards & Procedures across our Saint Louis and regional locations.

The intern will update the Material Catalog, help finalize company-wide Standards and Procedures in Word, and research new gas distribution equipment with the Standards/MTTE team. Open to undergraduates or graduates for Fall 2027, with 35–40 hours per week in a hybrid format (3 days in-office, 2 days remote).

Qualifikationen

• Currently enrolled as an undergrad rising junior, senior, or graduate student for Fall 2027 in engineering, business administration, or related field.
• Able to work 35–40 hours per week during the summer internship.
• Maintain a cumulative 3.0 GPA.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Participate in All Inclusive Onboarding and Project Poster Symposium.

Spire is seeking an enthusiastic, career minded student or recent graduate to join our operations across our regions. Our paid internship position affords students the opportunity to gain real-world experience to help put what they have learned in class into action. As an Intern, you may complete various projects and perform administrative duties while developing skills related to the assigned department and natural gas industry.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Take photos and/or use of intranet to update materials pictures and descriptions in the current Material Catalog.
• Work with the Standards Team to finalize company-wide Standards and Procedures in Word.
• Work with the Standards/MTTE (materials, tools, technology, equipment) Team to research innovative natural gas distribution equipment that will have the latest technology making it more efficient.

Required Education (certifications, licenses)

• Must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate rising junior, senior or graduate level student in the fall of 2027 pursuing an engineering, business adminstration, or another degree in a related field.

Required knowledge, skill and abilities

• Must be able to work 35 - 40 hours per week throughout the summer internship.
• Must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA.
• Microsoft Office proficiency required with most positions.
• Must participate in All Inclusive Onboarding and Project Poster Symposium

• Open office space and/or field work (depending on position); Hybrid work hours (3 days in the office/2 days at home)
