Job summary

Sunoco LP offers a twelve (12) week paid internship beginning May 2027. You must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program with an expected graduation date in Fall 2027 or Spring 2028.

During the internship you will gain exposure to senior leadership, work on high-impact strategic projects, and contribute to core departmental responsibilities across supply chain. You may express department/location preferences during the interview process.

• Currently enrolled in college and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree.
• Strong Excel and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with SQL and manipulate data for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in analysis, development and implementation of cost savings initiatives.
• Support contract development, implementation and supplier compliance.
• Conduct business reviews to ensure suppliers meet contracted obligations.
• Lead supplier engagement and communication through awareness programs.
• Seek guidance from sourcing team and apply appropriate procurement solutions.

Sunoco LP is a leading energy infrastructure and fuel distribution master limited partnership operating across 47 U.S. states, Puerto Rico, Europe, and Mexico. The Partnership’s midstream operations include an extensive network of approximately 9,500 miles of pipeline and over 100 terminals. Summary

During your internship you will have direct access to senior leadership within the organization as well as the opportunity to work on high-impact strategic projects in addition to your core departmental responsibilities. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone interested in learning about the oil & gas industry in a fast-paced, intellectually stimulating environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (dependent on department)

• Assist in the analysis, development and implementation of cost savings initiatives
• Assist in coordination of negotiations, contract development, contract implementation, and supplier contract compliance
• Conduct ongoing business reviews to ensure suppliers are performing to contracted obligations and service levels
• Lead the suppliers and stakeholders of the supply chain through effective engagement and communication by delivering supplier awareness programs.
• Solicit advice from manager/sourcing team members regarding sourcing and procurement processes and protocol and apply appropriate solutions to issues for stakeholders.
