Sunoco L.P. is seeking motivated interns to join one of our fast-paced teams in Philadelphia, PA.

The 12-week paid internship begins May 2027, and you must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program with an expected graduation date in Fall 2027 or Spring 2028. Ideal candidates will collaborate with executives, develop reports, manage data for new business integrations, and support multiple Commercial teams including Fuel Pricing and Trading.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in college; open to all degrees.
  • Preferably junior status in program.
  • Self-motivated with involvement outside studies.
  • Above average GPA and strong academic record.
  • Distinctive problem-solving and curiosity to tackle complex problems.
  • Strong work ethic and accountability to get things done.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments with deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with SQL is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate daily with team members and executives to learn Sunoco's Fuel Business and develop reports.
  • Assist with asset and customer data management for new business integrations.
  • Meet with team members to learn corporate processes and environments.
  • Review data such as expenses, margins and prices to identify exceptions and actions.
  • Review fuel market data and help develop analysis tools for monitoring.
  • Support projects for Commercial teams including Fuel Pricing, Supply, Logistics, Trading, and Systems Setup.

Sunoco, L.P., the leading operator of critical energy infrastructure and North America's largest independent fuel distributor, is looking for interns to join one of our fast-paced, high impact teams in Philadelphia, PA, We are seeking to fill roles in the following departments: Supply, Trading, Pricing Race Fuels and Business Development


This is a twelve (12) week paid internship program beginning May 2027. You must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program with an expected graduation date in Fall 2027 or Spring 2028.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Ideal candidate expectations, roles and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:



  • Collaborate daily with team members and executives to learn Sunoco's Fuel Business. Develop metrics and provide reports for business optimization and monitoring; use analysis to help identify potential opportunities.

  • Assist with management of asset and customer data for integration of new business into Sunoco systems.

  • Meet and work with various team members to learn the ins and outs of corporate environment.

  • Review data, such as expenses, fuel margins and prices, to identify exceptions, report key metrics, and develop corrective actions.

  • Review fuel market data and help develop tools for analysis and monitoring.

  • Perform project work to support one or several of the following Commercial teams: Fuel Pricing, Fuel Supply, Logistics, Trading, Midstream, Quality, and Systems Setup.

  • Currently enrolled in college - we're open to candidates of all degrees - if you possess the intangibles above and the work sounds intriguing, we can teach you the rest

  • Preferably junior status

  • General requirements include self-motivated individuals, involvement in activities outside college studies.

  • Above average GPA

  • Distinctive problem-solving skills and an intellectual curiosity to solve unique and oftentimes complex problems.

  • Strong work ethic and high level of self-motivation and accountability to \"get stuff done\" - while you'll receive regular coaching and feedback, we intentionally position our interns to be able to own their work

  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with occasionally tight deadlines

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Advanced Excel skills - familiarity with SQL a plus
