You will work under supervision with Systems, Project Managers, and Software Engineers to deliver high quality software components. The ideal candidate is pursuing a Computer/Software Engineering degree with a GPA of 3.0 or higher, has scripting (Python) and C/C++ skills, and can collaborate in a cross-functional, international team

• Entering junior year in the program.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsabilités

• Investigate bug reports and change requests.
• Design, code, modify, test, and document software.
• Create design and interface documents.
• Provide task breakdowns and effort estimates.
• Develop unit and integration tests and record results.

Intern, Software Engineer

Opportunity to work with Software Engineers on any of the following tasks:

• Investigate software bug reports, change requests.
• Design, code, modify, debug, test and document software.
• Author documents (Design, Interface control, Functional, etc...)
• Provide task breakdown and effort estimates.
• Unit tests - Design, document, execute and result recording.
• Integration tests - Design, document, execute and result recording.
• Report issues including timely escalation.
• Use software configuration management (SCM) tools.
• Work under supervision/guidance of other Systems Engineers, Project Managers, Customer support, Test Engineers and Software Engineers
• Perform any other duties assigned by the management.

Required Skills:

• Scripting (e.g. Python), C/C++
• Debugging
• Familiar with software requirements and design
• UNIX/Linux, QNX, Windows
• Familiarity with OOAD
• MS office suite

Education:

Degree: Computer Engineering, Software Engineering with a 3.0 or higher GPA
