New York Air Brake, a Knorr-Bremse Group company, is seeking an Intern, Software Engineer to contribute to software development efforts in a collaborative, international team. You will work on bug investigations, design, coding, testing, and documentation under supervision.

Ideal candidates are pursuing Computer Engineering or Software Engineering with a GPA of 3.0 or higher and are entering their junior year. Pay ranges from $18 to $26 per hour and expressions of interest are welcome.

Competenze

• Scripting (e.g. Python), C/C++.
• Familiar with software requirements and design.
• Familiarity with OOAD.
• MS Office suite.

Mansioni

• Investigate software bug reports, change requests.
• Design, code, modify, debug, test and document software.
• Provide task breakdown and effort estimates.
• Unit tests – design, document, execute and result recording.
• Integration tests – design, document, execute and result recording.
