Job summary

Rogers Group is seeking a Shipping Intern for Summer 2027 in Clare, MI. You will gain hands-on experience in shipping, receiving, and materials accounting within a dynamic manufacturing setting.

Ideal candidates are actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Prior involvement or related work is a plus. This is a seasonal full-time role with on-site responsibilities.

• Work with Shipping and Receiving team to improve Warehouse efficiency, stocking strategy and product flow.
• Perform hands-on activities such as receiving, picking, loading, scheduling, and purchase order processing.
• Develop an understanding of Supply Chain operations and collaboration with other departments.
• Perform other related duties as requested.

Summary:

The purpose of the shipping intern is to gain applicable career experience in a growing organization. Throughout this internship, you will gain valuable aspects of logisitcs operations. Including shipping, receiving, and the accounting of all produced or ordered materials to or from StageRight. Verifies and keeps records of incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment by performing the following duties. Maintains the quality of the materials handled.

The environment is active and fast-paced, with fabrication and production operating throughout the day. Expect a mix of physical activity and equipment use, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and carts to move materials and keep operations flowing.
