Job summary

BMW Group in Mountain View, CA invites a Spring 2027 Intern for Scouting and Academia to explore emerging trends in Mobility, consumer electronics, and autonomous driving. You will analyze startup activity, support innovation projects, and help build partnerships with universities and VC networks.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program, authorized to work in the U.S., with strong English, math, and presentation skills, plus the ability to work full-time in a hybrid

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program at an accredited college or university.
• US Work Authorization required.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (overall).
• Completed at least 60 college credit hours by application time.
• Ability to work full-time (36.25 hours/week).
• Submit an unofficial college transcript with the application.

Responsibilities

• Scout, analyze and understand emerging trends across Mobility and related fields.
• Track activities and provide routine executive summaries with focus on VC/startup activity in the U.S.
• Identify trends and technologies in startups, universities, and corporates in focus areas.
• Support project management and engagement tracking for innovation projects.
• Support networking initiatives with startup ecosystem partners like VCs, accelerators and universities.
