Job summary

You will scout trends, analyze technologies, and track venture capital activity to support BMW Group R&D efforts. Hourly pay depends on student level: undergraduates earn $32.50/hour and graduates $40.00/hour, with eligibility tied to internship terms and program requirements.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program.
• US work authorization required.
• GPA minimum 3.0 overall.
• Completed at least 60 college credits by application.

Responsibilities

• Scout and analyze emerging trends and technologies in Mobility, consumer electronics, digital ecosystems, and other areas.
• Provide routine executive summary reports focusing on Venture Capital and startup activity in the U.S.
• Identify trends in startups, universities, and corporations in focus areas.
• Support innovation project management and track engagement activity.
• Support networking by identifying startup ecosystem partners, including VC, accelerators, and universities.
