BMW seeks an intern in Mountain View, CA to scout emerging mobility and tech trends, analyze opportunities, and support BMW Group R&D. You will track activities, prepare executive summaries, and identify university, startup, and corporate partners to bolster innovation initiatives.

The internship runs Spring 2027, combines in-office and hybrid work, with hourly rates determined by academic level. Eligibility requires US work authorization and a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program.
• US Work Authorization required.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (overall).
• Completed at least 60 college credit hours at application time.

Responsabilités

• Scout, analyze and understand emerging trends in Mobility, Consumer Electronics, and related fields to support BMW Group R&D.
• Track technology domain activity and provide routine executive summaries with VC and startup focus in the U.S.
• Identify trends and technologies in startups, universities and corporations in focus areas.
• Support project management and networking initiatives with startup ecosystem partners.
