Zions Bancorporation in Utah is offering a Quantitative Modeling Analyst intern role within our Corporate Quantitative Analytics group, focused on building statistical and machine learning models to support strategic initiatives.

You'll design and clean datasets, perform checks, write documentation, create forecasting summaries, and help prepare presentations for senior management. Pursuit of stats/math/CS degree required; familiarity with Python, SQL, R, SAS is valued.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Math, Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience with one or more of the following statistical software tools: Python, SQL, R, SAS
  • Knowledge of statistical and econometric modeling methods, as well as machine learning
  • Understanding of accounting, financial statements, and banking products is a plus.
  • Proficiency in working with large data sets is a plus.
  • Experience with technologies such as Google Cloud Platform, GPUs, and Git is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented, and ableto meet deadlines.

Zions has an excellent opportunity available for a Quantitative Modeling Analyst intern to join our Corporate Quantitative Analytics group responsible for model development.
