Job summary

RTX in Austin offers internships, co-ops and full-time careers to work on advanced aerospace challenges. You will assist with volumetric metrology using computed tomography and structured light, while collaborating with the on-site tooling design team to create nesting fixtures for scanned parts.

Designed for students pursuing Metallurgy or Materials Science or related STEM fields, the program emphasizes quality principles, practical learning and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical, Mechanical Engineering or related STEM field and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship
• Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred
• Major or minor in Metallurgy or Materials Science
• Previous exposure to quality principles and RTX internship, co-op or work experience

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
