Job summary

Moog is seeking a summer 2027 Intern in Quality Engineering located onsite in Torrance, CA. The intern will join the Process Quality Engineering team within the Military Aircraft Group and contribute to key engineering tasks, data analysis, and process improvements while gaining exposure to customer meetings and documentation.

Applicants must be enrolled in an appropriate engineering program, maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and be eligible for U.S. export-controlled information access.

• Enrolled in an Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related degree program.
• GPA of at least 3.0; exact GPA requirement specified by department.
• Access to U.S. export-controlled information required.
• Ability to relocate for the duration of the internship.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the preparation and execution of key engineering tasks at Moog.
• Provide technical support to engineers as needed.
• Work experience may include data analysis, process improvement, testing, root cause investigation, documentation and/or participation in customer meetings.
• Provide input on project processes, strategies, and execution.
• Operate as a multidisciplinary member of a team.

The Process Quality Engineering team within our Military Aircraft Group is seeking a summer 2027 block intern. The intern will have an onsite work schedule in Torrance, CA.

To be considered for the role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

• Enrolled in an Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and/or another relevant Bachelor's or Master's Degree program, at an accredited university.
• GPA of at least 3.0; exact GPA requirement will be specified by department.
• This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
• Ability to relocate for the duration of the internship.
• Students within the Moog U.S. Internship Program are expected to have a professional disposition, effective communication skills, a strong desire to learn, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a team environment.

In this role you will:

• Contribute to the preparation and execution of key engineering tasks at Moog.
• Provide technical support to engineers, as needed.

Salary Range Transparency: Torrance, CA $28.00-$35.00 Hourly Salary Range Disclaimer The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
