Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking an Intern, Quality Engineering for the Military Aircraft Group in Torrance, CA. This on-site summer 2027 block internship will involve supporting engineering tasks, data analysis, and process improvements while collaborating with engineers and customers.

Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited engineering program (Bachelor’s or Master’s), maintain at least a 3.0 GPA, and be eligible for U.S. export-controlled information access; relocation is required for the internship.

• Provide input on project processes, strategies, and execution.
• Operate as a multidisciplinary team member on Moog programs.
• Represent Moog professionally in all interactions with customers and internal teams.

The Process Quality Engineering team within our Military Aircraft Group is seeking a summer 2027 block intern. The intern will have an onsite work schedule in Torrance, CA.

Requirements

• Enrolled in an Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and/or another relevant Bachelor's or Master's Degree program, at an accredited university.
• GPA of at least 3.0; exact GPA requirement will be specified by department.
• This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
• Ability to relocate for the duration of the internship.

Students within the Moog U.S. Internship Program are expected to have a professional disposition, effective communication skills, a strong desire to learn, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a team environment.

In This Role You Will

• Contribute to the preparation and execution of key engineering tasks at Moog.
• Provide technical support to engineers, as needed.
• Work experience may include data analysis, process improvement, testing, root cause investigation, documentation and/or participation in customer meetings, based on the student's educational discipline.
• Provide input on project processes, strategies, and execution.
• Operate as a multidisciplinary member of a team of creative, independent individuals.
• Represent Moog in a manner consistent with its technical and professional reputation.

Salary Range Transparency

Torrance, CA $28.00–$35.00 Hourly
