Job summary

Moog is seeking a Spring/Summer 2027 Intern in Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering in Torrance, CA. This onsite internship reports to the Manufacturing Strategy Leader and provides exposure to core engineering tasks within the Military Aircraft group.

The role requires enrollment in an Industrial Engineering program with a 3.0+ GPA, the ability to relocate, and access to U.S. export-controlled information.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to preparation and execution of key engineering tasks.
• Provide technical support to engineers as needed.
• Work may include continuous improvement, business process support, and/or project engineering.
• Provide input on project processes, strategies, and execution.
• Operate as a multidisciplinary team member within Moog's engineering group.
• Represent Moog in a professional manner.

Reporting To: Manufacturing Strategy Leader

Work Schedule: Onsite - Torrance, CA The Manufacturing team within our Military Aircraft group is seeking a spring/summer 2027 block intern. The intern will have an onsite work schedule in Torrance, CA.

To be considered for this role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

• Enrolled in an Industrial Engineering, and/or other relevant Engineering Bachelor's or Master's Degree program, at an accredited university.
• GPA of at least 3.0; exact GPA requirement will be specified by department.
• This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
• Ability to relocate for the duration of the internship.

Students within the Moog U.S. Internship Program are expected to have a professional disposition, effective communication skills, a strong desire to learn, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a team environment.

In this role you will:

• Contribute to the preparation and execution of key engineering tasks at Moog.
• Provide technical support to engineers, as needed.
• Work experience may include continuous improvement, business process support, and/or project engineering, based on the student's educational discipline.
• Provide input on project processes, strategies, and execution.
• Operate as a multidisciplinary member of a team of creative, independent individuals.
• Represent Moog in a manner consistent with its technical and professional reputation.

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
