Moog Military Aircraft LLC is offering a summer 2027 internship for an Electrical Engineering student. The position is onsite in Torrance, CA, reporting to an Engineer Sr. Staff.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in EE/Computer Engineering programs with a GPA of 3.0 or higher and willingness to relocate for the internship. The role involves supporting electronics product design tasks, with exposure to FPGA/MATLAB/embedded software, circuit analysis, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Work Schedule: Onsite – Torrance, CA

The Electronics Product Design team within our Military Aircraft Group is seeking a summer 2027 block intern. The intern will have an onsite work schedule in Torrance, CA.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an Computer or Electrical Engineering Bachelor's or Master's Degree program, at an accredited university.
• GPA of at least 3.0; exact GPA requirement will be specified by department.
• Ability to relocate for the duration of the internship.
• Students within the Moog U.S. Internship Program are expected to have a professional disposition, effective communication skills, a strong desire to learn, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Contribute to the preparation and execution of key electronics product design engineering tasks at Moog.
• Provide technical support to engineers, as needed.
• Work experience may include electrical/mechanical design, circuit/multi-physics analysis, and/or FPGA/MATLAB/embedded software development and testing, based on the student's educational discipline.
• Provide input on project processes, strategies, and execution.
• Operate as a multidisciplinary member of a team of creative, independent individuals.
• Represent Moog in a manner consistent with its technical and professional reputation.

Compensation

Salary Range Transparency: Torrance, CA $28.00–$35.00 Hourly Salary Range Disclaimer The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
