Job summary

KB Signaling Inc. is seeking a Quality Engineer to support QA activities for new and existing products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Melbourne, FL.

This onsite role requires collaboration with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to drive quality improvements and on-time delivery. The ideal candidate has a degree in Quality/Engineering fields with GPA 3.0+, strong data analysis skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Quality Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering Technology or related field with a 3.0 GPA or higher.
  • Strong understanding of quality principles and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret technical documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Support Quality Assurance with product and process quality activities for new and existing products.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze quality data; identify trends, nonconformities, and improvement opportunities.
  • Help prepare and maintain quality documentation, including plans and inspections.
  • Participate in process audits and continuous-improvement projects.
  • Work with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Operations to promote quality, safety, and on-time delivery.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Essential Functions
  • Support Quality Assurance with product and process quality activities for new and existing products.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze quality data; support identification of trends, nonconformities, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Help prepare and maintain quality documentation, including plans, Inspections.
  • Participate in process audits, and continuous-improvement projects as assigned.

Skills and Competencies
  • Basic understanding of quality principles, manufacturing processes, and engineering drawings.
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation, dimensions, tolerances, and specifications.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Comfort using data to support decisions and continuous improvement.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Education

Degree: Quality Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field, with a 3.0 GPA or higher.
